Following a degree in nursing Dr Katrina graduated from the University of Western Australia with Honours in 1999. In 2004 she became a fellow of the Australian College of General Practioners. Following a degree in nursing Dr Morkell graduated from the University of Western Australia with Honours in 1999. In 2004 she became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her hospital experience includes Cardiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Medicine, Emergency Medicine, ENT[ear, nose & throat], Palliative Care,Paediatrics, Psychiatry & Radiation Oncology. She has worked in General Practice since 2002. Dr Morkell enjoys all aspects of general practice with special interests in paediatrics, adolescent and women’s health. She is currently undertaking post graduate study in paediatrics through the University of Sydney/Children’s Hospitals Network. She is also qualified to insert and remove implant. In her spare time with enjoys running and spending time with her family.
