Kate obtained a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging at Curtin University in 2000. She worked as a radiographer in Perth, Western Australia before returning to full time study to complete her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2007.
Kate was awarded her Fellowship in General Paediatrics by the Royal Australiasian College of General Physicians in 2015. She undertook the majority of her paediatric training at the Mater Children’s Hospital with the final year being completed at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital and The Tweed Hospital.
Kate enjoys caring for children of all ages with a broad range of medical issues and has experience managing children with complex medical needs. She particularly enjoys caring for premature and newborn babies. When not at work Kate enjoys spending time with her young family.
