Kathryn is a Lecturer at the University of Sydney and the Unit Coordinator for the Diabetes Management and Advanced Diabetes Management units of study for the Metabolic Health Postgraduate Program. She is also an HVMO at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and a Clinical Investigator at the Boden Institute. She works as an endocrinologist in private practice and also has a fortnightly diabetes and endocrine clinic at the Aboriginal Medical Service in Redfern. She completed her medical training in 2001 at the University of New South Wales and has recently finished a PhD on the relationship between type 2 diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
