Kate graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney Medical School in 1992. She then undertook General Practice Training with special interest in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Family Planning. She is currently a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. She has worked in General Practice in Dee Why and more recently Forster Tuncurry during which time she developed an interest in Dermatology and Skin Cancer Medicine. Kate is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand, and holds a Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine, and a Certificate in Advanced Dermoscopy and Dermal Imaging.
