Dr Kathryn Berkman (Bsc, MBBS, RACP) completed her undergraduate science degree and medical degree at the University of Queensland. She completed her specialist training in Endocrinology at the Princess Alexandra and Townsville Hospitals. Dr Kathryn Berkman currently practices at Specialist Medical Care Australia in North Lakes Specialist Centre and Springwood General Practice as well as the Mater Hospital. Her practice covers all areas of Endocrinology with a special interest in Diabetes including insulin pump therapy. She is a compassionate clinician who is committed to improving the quality of life of her patients. Kathryn continues to be committed to medical education and is an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland. She is also committed to evidence based care and has ongoing research in Diabetes and hyponatremia. Kathryn is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, the Australian Diabetes Society and the American Endocrine Society.
