Kate completed her medical degree and hospital training in Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Manning Valley districts, before moving with her husband to Sydney, where she finished her General Practice training.
Kate enjoys the diversity of general practice but has a special interest in women's health. She has completed a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DRANZCOG), and is trained in IUD (mirena and copper devices) and Implanon insertion, and thus is able to offer a full range of options to her female patients in terms of family planning, including shared antenatal care. In her spare time, Kate enjoys spending time with her young family and their Labrador Barney.
