Dr Katie Dimarco graduated from the University of Melbourne with an Honours degree in Medicine. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). She has sub-specialty training in psychotherapies, with skills in cognitive-behaviour therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy, and is a Member of the RANZCP Faculty of Psychotherapy.
Dr Dimarco enjoys treating a range of conditions in her private practice, and also provides tele-psychiatry services for rural areas, and care for members of the Australian Defence Force. She has an interest in Anxiety Disorders, having previously worked at the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at St Vincent’s Hospital. Dr Dimarco also works in occupational and civil medico-legal psychiatry and is a Specialist Medical Officer with AMP, and an accredited assessor of permanent impairment with NSW WorkCover and the Motor Accident Authorities. She is a Member of the Medico-Legal Society of NSW, and the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law.
