Dr Katherine Bryan (Paediatrician)

Dr Kate Bryan is a Consultant Paediatrician with experience in acute paediatrics and ambulatory care paediatrics, who sees a range of medical, developmental and behavioural conditions from birth to 18 years.

She has experience in managing common paediatric problems such as asthma, eczema, constipation, headache, unsettled babies and growth concerns. Her interests include childhood growth and development, complex care paediatrics and behavioural paediatrics.

Dr Bryan completed her medical degree at Monash University, Melbourne. Her paediatric training was based at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH), Melbourne and the John Hunter Children's Hospital, Newcastle. Additionally, Kate has worked for Sydney Children's Hospital (Randwick), The Royal Women's Hospital (Melbourne), Monash Medical Centre (Melbourne) and at multiple regional centers across New South Wales and Victoria.

She is passionate about providing quality paediatric care in regional settings. Kate believes in working with families, allied health professionals and schools in achieving best outcomes for her patients.

Currently, Dr Bryan is completing a Masters of Public health with the University of Newcastle and is an Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) instructor. She continues to be involved with mentorship of junior doctors and medical students and has ongoing research interests.
