Dr Kate originally trained in Neuroscience and worked in the field of psychiatric research before completing her Medical degree at the University of Western Australia. She graduated with Honours in 2010 and spent her initial postgraduate years acquiring experience whilst working in a range of disciplines at Fremantle and Princess Margaret Hospitals. During this time, Kate also completed a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in Women’s Health. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practioners in 2016.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice and her special interests includewomen’s health, sexual health (including family planning counselling and Implanon® insertion), children’s and adolescent health. In her spare time, Kate enjoys painting in oil and watercolours and general beachside life.
