Dr Kassandra Fairhall was born and grew up in Murwillumbah, a small country town in northern NSW, and completed her Bachelor of Science at University of Queensland graduating in 2003. She subsequently undertook the Postgraduate Medical program at Flinders University, including a 12 week placement in rural general practice, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2007. Dr Fairhall continued her training with the Southern Adelaide Health Service covering a broad range of areas including Mental Health and general medicine. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2012 after completing her training in the community setting.

Dr Fairhall has been involved in teaching throughout her career and is currently a Clinical Skills tutor with the School of Medicine at Flinders University. She has developed her medical interests through her experience with Headspace (youth health), attachments in teaching and chronic pain and addiction medicine, and has completed further training in skin procedures.

Dr Fairhall enjoys all aspects of general medicine and the variety of general practice but also has interests in mental health, adolescent health, chronic pain, contraception and sexual health, travel medicine and dermatology including procedures.
