Born and bred on the Sunshine coast, Dr Redman moved to Brisbane and trained in Medicine at the University of QLD, graduating in 1993. This was followed by a variety of time in hospital training and general practice, both in QLD and then in New Zealand. In this time Dr Redman completed further study in both obstetrics and nutrition. In 2002, she returned to QLD to work on the Sunshine coast and gained her fellowship in general practice.
Dr Redman enjoys the variety of general practice, but particularly enjoys looking after families, antenatal care and women's health.
Her husband, Sean, is now working in Brisbane, so relocation to Cleveland is a welcome change for them both. She enjoys running, reading and cooking. She looks forward most years to a trip to the snow to ski and loves following rugby league.
