Dr Julie Lukic began her formal training in obstetrics and gynaecology at The Royal Hospital for Women in 1996, where she became a Fellow in Reproductive Medicine. In 2004, she completed a three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the prestigious McGill University in Montreal. Julie is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), a member of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA) and a member of the American and European Societies of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM, ESHRE). Julie has completed over 4000 oocyte collections and embryo transfers and is skilled in all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) cycle management. She also has training in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, focusing on the surgical treatment of infertility and in 2006 completed the Advanced Integrated Training Program in Minimal Access Pelvic Surgery.
