Dr Jovanka King (Immunologist)

Dr King graduated from Flinders University with Honours in Medicine in 2007. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, and is a Paediatric Allergist, Immunologist and Immunopathologist. She also works at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre in both clinical and laboratory medicine. She is currently undertaking PhD studies at the University of Adelaide and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. Her research interest is the diagnosis and management of primary immunodeficiency diseases in childhood, in particular, strategies for screening newborns for primary immunodeficiency.

​Dr King accepts referrals for assessment of babies, children and adolescents up to the age of 18 years with a range of immunological conditions, including allergic or suspected immune deficiency disorders.
