Dr Joseph Lombardo has extensive experience in general practice and sports medicine, having worked in both elite sport and general practice for more than 30 years. Dr Lombardo has qualifications both in General Medicine and a Masters in both Exercise and Sports Science and Sports Medicine. This unique background means that Dr Lombardo can manage injuries both in the elite athlete and the weekend warrior as well as take care of your general health, workplace and chronic injuries. At present Dr Lombardo is working with the GWS Giants AFL and previously with the Canterbury Bulldogs NRL, Penrith Panthers NRL, and the Western Sydney Razorbacks NBL. Dr Lombardo has a special interest in Autologous blood and PRP injection techniques. So whether you are a child that’s fallen off your bike on the weekend, or someone that sprained your ankle on the football pitch or a knee injury on the basketball court Dr Lombardo has extensive experience in getting you back to your best.
