Dr Kluver graduated from University of Queensland School of Medicine in 2008. Since then he obtained fellowship with the Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015 followed by completion of his training as a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician in 2017. Dr Kluver now works full time as a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. His current duties include working as a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician at QPain as well as the Princess Alexandra Hospital Persistent Pain Service where he is also the Supervisor of Registrar Training. He is on a number of committees for pain medicine on a state and federal level. He is also involved in research looking into new and innovative strategies in managing chronic pain such as the use of virtual reality. Dr Kluver sees patients will all types of chronic pain. He aims to utilise all appropriate resources, including physical, psychological, pharmacological and procedural treatments for chronic pain. He has a special interest in medication safety and medication rationalisation in chronic pain.
