Dr John Scott has extensive experience in general orthopaedic surgery and now specialises exclusively in surgery of the shoulder and upper limb. He completed his basic medical training at Cambridge University and trained as an orthopaedic surgeon in New Zealand. In 2001 he obtained a fellowship in hand surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Queensland Hand Surgery Society. He maintains his surgical expertise through regular attendance at and participation in international conferences and workshops.
