Dr. John Saxon is a Sedationist at CDD. Together with Dr. Ramrakha, he is responsible for emergency training of all CDD staff. His professional interests include Hypertension Management, Medical and Clinical Research as well as Risk Management. Dr Saxon has previously worked as Director of Emergency Department at Sydney Private Hospital.
Dr Saxon is currently a Visiting Medical Officer as a sedationist in several endoscopy centres. His experience in emergency medicine also led him to a current position as the Chief Medical Officer at the Australian Jockey club and Sydney Turf Club and consults in injury management.
He has been involved in a number of published publications, research in emergency medicine and gastroenterology.
