Dr O’Sullivan undertook his medical training at University College Cork, Ireland and completed post graduate surgical training through the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He immigrated to Australia in 1990 and worked in Dongara for 6 years before coming to Altone Medical Centre in 1996. He moved to Beechboro Family Practice in January 2016.
Dr John O’Sullivan devotes his time exclusively to skin cancer and surgical procedures and no longer does General Practice as such. He continues to provide regular skin cancer screening clinics and a twice weekly local anaesthetic based surgery clinic where skin cancers are removed including skin grafting or skin flap surgery, where required. He also performs vasectomy and baby circumcision (up to 6 weeks old) under local anaesthetic.
