Doctor John Gliddon was born and bred in Perth and obtained a medical degree at the University of Western Australia. After completing his studies, John worked at Fremantle Hospital and subsequently in the UK gaining wide-ranging experience and diplomas in obstetrics and anaesthetics.
John returned to Australia in 1982 with a young family, settled in Bunbury and has worked with Doctor Foster and Associates for the last 30 years offering full-time general practice with obstetrics and anaesthetics.
John was one of the founders of the Bunbury Hospice and Palliative Care Service, and has been actively involved in teaching GP Registrars and medical students for many years. John has just stopped delivering babies (in 2012!) but is otherwise still working full-time and enjoying it!
