Dr Bernard completed his medical education in South Africa and moved to Australia in 1996 where he gained experience working in rural communities.
He has been working in private general practice in rural NSW for the past 16 years.
He has an interest in Obstetrics (Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and minor surgery including Vasectomy and neonatal circumcision.
He has settled in Cairns with his family and looks forward to looking after the health needs of patients in our region.
