Dr Joel Zheng joined our practice during the second half of 2012. Joel knows the area well, since he grew up locally, attended Coolbinia Primary School and then Mount Lawley High School. Joel obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Australia in 2005 and he has a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Joel has worked as a GP Anaesthetist and holds accreditation with the Joint Consultative Committee of Anaesthesia. He has worked in Albany and various rural placements during his GP training.
Joel loves to exercise and keep fit. He is an avid cyclist (about 300km/week) and he also does Muay Thai martial arts.
Dr Zheng also works alternate Saturdays and 1 in 6 Sundays
