Available for appointments all day Tuesdays & Thursdays, Wednesday afternoons & Friday mornings Dr. Jocelyn Eggins has lived and worked in the Maleny hinterland since moving here in 2002 with her husband and three children. Jocelyn studied medicine at the University of Queensland and graduated in 1994. She began her career at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane and then moved into General Practice, initially in Brisbane and then later in Maleny and Montville. Jocelyn has a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and has obtained a Certificate in Skin Cancer management through the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine, and has undertaken additional studies in advanced dermoscopy. Jocelyn feels extremely privileged that General Practice allows her to care for families in her community throughout the years in a “from the cradle to the grave” scenario. Outside of medicine, Jocelyn enjoys snow-boarding with her sons, dance and patchwork with her daughter and hiking, 4-Wheel driving or travel adventures with her husband! However, for true relaxation, Jocelyn feels there is nothing better than reading a good book whilst lying in a hammock at the beach!
