Originally from New Zealand, I studied medicine at the University of Otago obtaining:
Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Nutrition in 1987 Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Distinction in 1991 I worked in NZ as resident doctor at Wellington Hospital before moving to Australia and commencing work at Fremantle Hospital in 1993. Subsequently I enrolled in the General Practice Training Programme in Perth and was awarded:
Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1997 Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1997 I have been a GP for 17 years, initially working in Busselton before moving back to Perth and commencing work at the Melville Plaza Medical Centre. In 2000 we relocated to our current location at Point Walter Medical Centre.
I have an interest in Paediatrics and Women’s Health. I worked as a GP Obstetrician delivering babies at Woodside and Attadale Hosptial until 2004 when the demands of my own family precluded me from continuing Obstetric care. I continue to offer shared Obstetric care and some procedural gynaecology at Point Walter Medical Centre.
