Joanne studied medicine at the University of London, graduated in 2005. She worked in East London for a short time before coming to Australia in 2006. Joanne’s initial medical training was in Emergency Medicine before leaving this field to work as a rural GP in the small town of Millmerran. Joanne worked in Millmerran as both a GP and the hospital Doctor. After taking a short break to have her 3rd baby Joanne decided to move to the coast to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. Joanne lives with her family on a property in Eumundi. She is a keen gardener and artist when not at work.
