Dr Joanna East trained at the Royal Free Hospital Medical School in London, graduating in 1983. She spent several years studying Anaesthesia and General Practice in the UK before emigrating with her Australian husband in 1990. Dr East has worked in general practice on the Sunshine Coast for the past 20 years combining it with anaesthesia for endoscopic procedures and raising her 3 children. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine, especially women’s health and gastrointestinal disorders.
