Our principal dentist, Dr Jeremy Schocroft is a devoted, caring professional who knew from a young age that dentistry was his calling. “I’ve always wanted to help people, and I like working with my hands,” he explains. “Dentistry combines those things.”
He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Adelaide University in 1981 and has been building a wide variety of professional experience ever since.
Dr Schocroft heavily emphasises preventive dentistry and helping people understand the importance of their oral health. He’s also interested in treating jaw and joint disorders, root canal therapy, crowns and other restorations, laser dentistry, periodontal care and orthodontics. Along with looking after people’s oral health, Dr Schocroft is passionate about teaching and guiding clinicians who are new to dentistry. His commitment to continued learning means you can find him still attending various courses and lectures (or leading the lectures himself).
