Born in England, Dr Dowler completed her Medical Degree at Cambridge University before undergoing her GP training rotation in the UK, where she specialised in Rheumatology, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Psychiatry.
Dr Dowler moved to Australia, initially working on the Sunshine Coast before moving to a mining town called Glenden where she was the only Doctor. This gave her great experience in treating a range of different medical conditions.
Dr Dowler has been working as a GP in Brisbane since 2012 and joined Fiveways Surgery in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice medicine but her particular interests are women’s and children’s health, sexual health and preventative medicine. Dr Dowler is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She is married with two children, and in her spare time enjoy skiing, cycling, swimming, walking, and reading.
