Jenny Bravin is a Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with adults with neurological conditions and their families within a variety of rehabilitation settings, both in the private and public sectors. Jenny has been a registered Psychologist since 1998 and holds specialist qualifications in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Jenny uses a collaborative, holistic approach to assist people to better manage issues of adjustment, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and stress, particularly when associated with pain, illness and injury. Skills to better cope, manage and live with chronic pain are developed within a supportive, empathic environment with a focus of working towards an individual's personally important goals.
She uses evidenced based therapeutic approaches incorporating principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Therapy. She has a strong interest in the clinical application of yoga and meditation.
