Dr. Jack Tsai graduated with a medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2007.
He worked as a general practitioner throughout Queensland rural towns including Blackbutt, Nambour and Rockhampton and went on to obtain his Fellowship with the college of General Practitioners. During this time he was exposed to the great need for skin cancer work in rural Queensland, and developed an interest in skin cancer medicine. As a result of this interest in skin cancer medicine, he started work at Melanoma Scan where he has furthered his training in skin cancer medicine, including the use of flaps and grafts.
Dr. Tsai is proficient with flaps and grafts for head and neck region and all other areas of the body. He strives hard to achieve best cosmetic outcome for patients including the use of dermal sutures when appropriate.
Dr Tsai has continued his training in skin cancer medicine and has completed his Master of Medicine program with the University of Queensland.
