Dr Pala Valappil has more than 14 years experience in Psychiatry. After completing his primary medical qualification (MBBS) in 1997, he worked for 2 years as a general practitioner at Chennai, India. He completed his Diploma In Psychological Medicine (DPM) from Institute of Mental Health, Madras Medical College in 2002. He then completed his psychiatric training at Sheffield and Leeds in UK. He received the Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrist (MRCPsych) in 2006. He moved to Australia in 2008 and obtained the Fellowship of Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist (FRANZCP) in 2011.
