Dr Janet Lee is a highly experienced comprehensive ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery and glaucoma. She also works in paediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and medical retina. Dr Lee obtained her medical degree from the University of Sydney graduating with Honours. Her postgraduate ophthalmology training was done at Sydney Eye Hospital, and following this she worked at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA where she undertook further study in cataract and genetic eye diseases. She has publications in a number of ophthalmic journals. She is a member of multiple national and international ophthalmic associations.
Dr Lee has worked in Burwood in private practice since 1990, with Inner West Eye Surgeons moving to the present site in 2005. She is committed to providing the highest level of care and quality to all of her patients. Dr Lee sees patients of all ages including children, and is CASA accredited
