I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the field of Foot & Ankle Surgery. I work exclusively in the private sector at SPORTSMED SA and undertake all facets of Foot & Ankle Surgery. In doing so, I provide advice and undertake foot and ankle surgery for the Port Adelaide Football Club, Adelaide Thunderbirds Netball, 36er's and Lightning Basketball Teams, Adelaide United Soccer Club, SANFL, Australian Cycling and Basketball Teams. I am also a Medical Officer for Netball Australia and assist in looking after the Australian & other International netball teams whilst they are in Australia.
I believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to managing foot and ankle conditions and work actively with podiatrists and physiotherapists in achieving the best outcome for all of our patients. I have a particular interest in sports injuries, ankle replacements, and minimally invasive (keyhole) bunion surgery. In terms of the latter, in taking an active approach to modern surgical management in liaison with patient's regular podiatrists, I feel that we can now achieve not only good cosmetic results, however also excellent functional results. I am one of the most experienced surgeons in keyhole bunion surgery in Australia.
