Dr Dalby-Payne is a General Paediatrician with a special interest in the assessment and management of children with medical and behavioural feeding difficulties. She works closely with paediatric speech pathologists and dieticians in managing children with complex feeding problems and failure to thrive. Together with the Feeding Teams at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Royal North Shore, Dr Dalby-Payne manages children being weaned from long-term nasogastric and gastrostomy tube feeding. In addition to her special interest in feeding, Dr Dalby-Payne is skilled in the assessment and management of all common paediatric conditions including learning difficulties and ADHD. She will work with parents, school counsellors, teachers, educational psychologists and child development services to assess and manage children with learning difficulties, ADHD, pervasive developmental disorder and global developmental delay. Dr Dalby-Payne is able to offer Telehealth consultations to children outside the Sydney metropolitan area after their initial consultation in the St Leonards rooms. Dr Dalby-Payne has admitting rights to both The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospital. Her inpatient work consists of the care of children with acute paediatric problems admitted through the Emergency Department as well as the care of children with chronic and complex medical problems.
