Dr Ira Pant is a graduate of Flinders University after having completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science (BMBS) degree in 2012. She went on to specialise in General Practice and is a Fellow of the Royal College of GPs (FRACGP). Some of her previous achievements include a PhD in Nutrition with post doctoral research at the CSIRO division of Nutrition in Adelaide. She also dabbled in the Wine Industry where she participated in research with a Barossa-based company that turns wine into weird and wonderful things. Whilst in General Practice training she completed a Diploma in Child Health through the Womens and Childrens Hospital. She is currently involved in Aged Care work and is also interested in Menopause management. She is hoping to combine her knowledge of diet and nutrition to help people with Chronic Diseases like obesity and diabetes using the Low Carb Healthy Fat lifestyle approach in the management of these conditions.
