Dr Igor Policinski specialises in orthopaedic conditions of the Hand, Wrist, Elbow and Shoulder. Dr Policinski has lived in Canberra since a young child, attending Telopea Park High School, and Narrabundah College. He completed his medical degree in Poland then returned to Canberra and worked at Canberra Hospital for 6 years.

Once he completed his Australian Accredited Orthopaedic Training, he and his family travelled to the USA and Europe for 2 years so that he could undertake specialist fellowships in hand, wrist and microsurgery, including Congenital Malformations, Dupuytren’s, as well as elbow and shoulder surgery.

He returns to Canberra with a wealth of sub-specialty orthopaedic experience and is now seeing patients at Orthopaedics ACT, in the Woden Specialist Medical Centre, plus assisting with Emergency On-Call at the Canberra Hospital.

We are excited to have him join our team.

He will be practicing from Orthopaedics ACT’s rooms in Woden, and is able to provide short lead times for appointments and surgery. Arthrodesis (fusion) of arthritic joints
