Dr Ian Pollard is specialist Gastroenterologist and the founder of Northern Endoscopy.
Dr Pollard obtained his medical degree from the University of Adelaide and became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Physicians in 1973.
Dr Pollard completing advanced training in gastroenterology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and became a VMO working at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and Modbury Hospitals for many years. Dr Pollard left Modbury Hospital in 1985 to create the first standalone endoscopy day hospital in South Australia.
Apart from general gastroenterology, his interests include and interventional endoscopy.
