Hugo Lawrie was part of Deakin University’s inaugural graduating class in 2011. Previously, he had studied a combined Commerce and Arts degree at The University of Melbourne with honours in economics. Prior to training as a General Practitioner, Hugo worked at University Hospital Geelong for 4 years across various departments including Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Aged Care and Palliative Care. As such, Hugo has a keen interest in these areas of General Practice. When not at work, Hugo enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children (3 children if you count his dog, Graham). He is a vocal Collingwood supporter, despite having all his own teeth. Hugo consults at both our Torquay and Anglesea practices.
