Huda is Australian and New Zealand trained and qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, soon after obtaining her MBChB from Baghdad in 1988. Huda worked in New Zealand for a number of years before moving to Brisbane, she then decided to move with her family to Canberra, where she has been in private practice since 2006. She obtained her fellowship with RANZCOG in 2004.
Huda participates in ongoing education and risk management programs, her areas of interest are Obstetrics (singleton, twins normal and instrumental births, Caesarean Section, pre pregnancy counselling and post natal care) along with general Gynaecology (pelvic pain, cycle problems, heavy menstrual bleeding, polyps, fibroids, ovarian cysts, contraception and menopause) endoscopy (minimal invasive surgery) and colposcopy (vulva, vagina and abnormal pap smears).
