Dr Hilary Bower graduated from the University of Sydney in 1989 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery. She completed her fellowship (FRACGP) in 1995 and worked in general practice. Since 2006, she has been working primarily in the area of sexual and reproductive health. Hilary has a special interest in all aspects of women's health including contraception/family planning and cervical screening (Pap tests) and also sexual health. She is an accredited trainer in Implanon insertion and removals and also works as a medical educator in the area of sexual and reproductive health - in particular cervical screening.
