Dr Helen Schinckel is a principal GP and joined Rose Street Clinic in 1999. She studied medicine at Flinders university.After graduating she worked as a Resident Medical officer at Flinders Medical Centre and Repatriation General Hospital, whilst completing her general practice training through the RACGP’s Family Medicine Program in 1993. She subsequently did further training with the Family Planning Federation (Now Shine SA) and worked for them as a visiting medical officer. In addition she worked as a Visiting Medical Officer in the emergency department at the Womens and Childrens hospital until 1996. In 1998 Helen completed an academic fellowship in general medical Education in Toronto, Canada. Her Interests include : Paediatrics, Womens Health, Dermatology, Orthopaedics and General medicine. Helen is married with 2 children.
