Dr Helen Sadumiano gained her medical degree in 1994 from Manila, Philippines. Dr Helen continued her medical training in NSW Australia, working in a variety of hospital placements including Westmead Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Blacktown, Mt Druitt and Wollongong Hospitals. In this time Helen gained vast experiences in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine & Surgery and Nuclear Medicine. Dr Helen relocated back to New Zealand and worked in Waikato Hospital as Senior House Officer spending most of her time in Geriatrics & Mental Health. She undertook GP training in New Zealand while working as a GP partner and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioner (RNZCGP) in 2011. Dr Helen moved to Queensland and she was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012. She has been practicing in Caboolture clinic ever since. Dr Helen embraces a holistic approach to her medicine, drawing on her 20-year experience of working with various cohorts of patients across 3 countries, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. She loves all aspects of General Practice with special interest in Women & Children’s Health and Nutritional Medicine. She believes in caring for the body as well as being attentive to the needs of the soul. She and her husband have been leaders of a Christian community for years. She also loves camping & traveling and a keen gardener.
