Dr Heidi Peverill (General Surgeon)

Dr Heidi Peverill is a Queensland trained General Surgeon with a speciality interest in Breast Surgery.

Heidi completed medical school in Melbourne in 2004 before returning home to Queensland to begin work. She commenced surgical training in 2006 and was awarded the FRACS in 2012 before completing a Breast and Melanoma Surgical Fellowship. She has extensive experience in the management of all breast disease ranging from benign to advanced cancer as well oncoplastic breast surgery.

Heidi has maintained a focus in General Surgery, continuing to regularly operate on gall bladders, hernias, haemorrhoidal disease as well as the acutely unwell surgical patient.

Heidi enjoys teaching junior staff and medical students. She is a Supervisor for Griffith University Surgical students at Logan Hospital and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. She is a Senior instructor on the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient course.

Heidi works publicly at the Princess Alexandra, Logan and Redlands Hospitals and sees private patients at the Redlands Specialist Centre, operating at the Mater Hospital Redlands.
