I grew up in far North Queensland on a dairy farm and completed my training in northern and western Queensland after graduating from James Cook University Townsville in 2009. in 2016 I completed my fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and have a special interest in Women's Health and Emergency Medicine (having completed an advanced Diploma of Obstetrics 2013 and a Certificate in Emergency Medicine in mid 2017). Outside of work I am a keen traveller, with recent trips to Antarctica, Japan and hiking the Kokoda track in PNG. I also enjoy photography and baking cakes. Currently I'm working as a Senior Medical Officer in the emergency department at the Mount Isa Hospital. I'm looking forward to a challenge in the new year when I start with the team at Aqua Marine Medical Centre.
