Associate Professor Harry Lowe is Head of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories, Concord Repatriation General Hospital, and has been a Staff Cardiologist there since 2002. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed manuscripts, five book chapters and is an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Cardiology.
He has broad clinical interests including cardiovascular disease prevention, and risk and lifestyle assessments in healthy and sporting individuals. He also has particular expertise in hypertension, cardiac imaging and in coronary intervention
Associate Professor Lowe was schooled in Cambridge England, completed general and specialty cardiology training at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, a PhD in molecular cardiology at UNSW, and completed his clinical and interventional training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.
