Dr Hamish Hardy graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery having previously completed a Bachelor of Science. He has worked in various hospitals including Royal North Shore Hospital and Gosford Hospital where he trained for three years in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine. He also spent time in rural Coonabarabran where he worked as a GP as well as a Visiting Medical Officer at the local hospital. In 2009, Dr Hardy was awarded a Joint Consultative Committee of Anaesthesia certification to work as a rural anaesthetist and attained his fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2012. Dr Hardy has a special interest in paediatrics and skin procedures. When he is not working, Dr Hardy enjoys spending time with his young family, playing guitar, gardening and cooking.
