Dr Abd Rahim graduated from the University of Melbourne medical school in 2009. He then moved to South Australia (SA) and completed his internship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He spent the next 3 years doing various clinical rotations at Flinders Medical Centre and Royal Adelaide Hospital. These years have given him invaluable experience ranging from the acute presentations in A&E through to Intensive Care and even Rehabilitation.
In 2014, Dr Abd Rahim entered rural General Practice Training in SA and has worked at Bridge Clinic in Murray Bridge and Coorong Medical Centre in Meningie. He qualified as a fellow with the RACGP in 2016 and decided to move to Rockingham as his permanent base. He enjoys the different aspects of general practice, from preventative health, minor skin surgeries, men’s health, Implanon insertions, paediatrics, aged care, and chronic disease managements. He listens and always get his patient’s input to ensure optimum care.
