Dr Silver completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1976, followed by training at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane. He spent seven years as a Medical Officer at the RAAF, mostly in Malaysia, before joining Walton Bridge Medical Centre in 1985. His main interests are general medicine, skin cancer surgery, and vasectomy. He performs recreational diving medical examinations.
