Dr Peek commenced speciality training in Queensland in 1988 gaining his MDSc(OMS) in 1991 at The University of Queensland and is a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Oral and Maxillofacial Specialist Stream.
Dr Peek transferred to The Royal Australian Navy Reserve in 1995 and moved back to Brisbane to commence specialist private practice which he continues in South Brisbane at the Brisbane Dental Specialist Centre.
Dr Peek has held visiting appointments to The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, The Princess Alexandra Hospital, The Ipswich General Hospital and The University of Queensland. Dr Peek has a particular interest in the developing field of computer guided surgery.
