Dr Urbani achieved his primary medical degree in South Africa in 1997. He was certified by the Canadian College of General Practitioners in 2007. Since then he has attained a Diploma in Dermatology and a Diploma in Dermoscopy. In 2015 he aims to complete the Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer Medicine through the University of Queensland.
