Gigi joined our Practice in October, 2014. Gigi graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 2002. She completed her internship at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town in 2003. As part of compulsory community service for doctors in South Africa, Gigi worked in a small, rural town hospital near the Lesotho border for a year. She continued to work as a GP in Cape Town for 5 years before moving to Ireland in 2010. Here, she worked in a variety of GP practices including rural and inner city placements. This included a 6 month rotation in Emergency Medicine at St Vincent's University Hospital, as well as 18 months in a private, Urgent Care Clinic in Dublin. Gigi is delighted to have the opportunity to come and settle in the picturesque town of Moruya.
